Katie studied at ACU and has been working in private practice for the last five years. With a background in allied health assistance and support work, Katie has engaged with the disability community for 10 years, bringing a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her practice.
She is fuelled by a deep commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of others and their families. Through working with the client and their families, Katie aims to create a supportive environment that nurtures each person’s unique strengths and addresses their specific communication challenges.
She is dedicated to staying informed about the latest research and best practices, ensuring that her interventions are evidence-based and tailored to meet the evolving needs of her clients.
Katie believes in communication as a human right. She understands the importance of fostering an inclusive society that recognises and supports the diverse communication needs of every person.
